Ghana’s defender Emmanuel Ntim was adjudged Man-Of-The-Match in Valenciennes win over Caen.
Ntim was in great shape for his team and dazzled throughout the mouth-watering end-to-end game which ended 1-0 to the host.
After his stellar performance, the Ghanaian was adjudged MVP of the match on Saturday.
The Ghanaian right-back netted his first goal of the season for the Reds as they won their week five encounter Stade Malherbe Caen to record their third win in five games this season.
The 24-year-old opened the scoring in the 10th minutes with a powerful header from the center of the box into the top left corner following a corner kick from Aly Abeid.
Ntim’s goal was enough to help Valenciennes to a third home win in the French Ligue 2 this campaign.
The Ghanaian defender’s goal was his first in four games as his team Valenciennes FC moved to 5th on the league log after five games in the French second tier.
Ntim was rated 8.8 on the day and was the highest-ranked player in the match he played full throttle.
The 24-year-old’s performance won him his first MVP of the 2020-21 season in the France Second Tier.
