Former skipper of Ghana’s U-17 side, Eric Ayiah, has said his goodbyes to French side AS Monaco ahead of his imminent move away from the club.

The 22-year-old is set to bring an end to his four-year at the Ligue 1 giants to an end after failing to break into the first team.

Ayiah is expected to sign for Portuguese side Gil Vicente before the close of the transfer window.

The Ghana international joined Monaco after an impressive tournament in the U-17 World Cup in India.

However, limited chances at the club has forced him to reconsider his decision and move on.

Ahead of his soon-to-be-announced transfer, the youngster has penned an emotional farewell to the club.

“Hopefully this is a see you soon rather than a bye🔴⚪️,” he wrote on his Twitter page.
