Former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko star Charles Taylor claims newly signed Hearts of Oak midfielder Gladson Awako currently plays batter than Mubarak Wakaso.
The Black Stars suffered 1-0 defeat to the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Monday at the FNB Stadium.
Despite the Black Stars beating Ethiopia 1-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium last Friday with the China-based midfielder scoring the only goal in the game, the former Black Stars forward insists Wakaso’s form Hass declined.
“Awako is currently better than Wakaso,” Taylor told Angel FM in Accra.
“The Black Stars National team is not for anybody, if you say it people will say you are hating.
“Awako protects the ball better and passes the ball well than wakaso.His tackles are not good, I’m stating a fact.
He concluded by saying: “If CK wants to continue coaching the team he should be firm and open his eyes.”
The Black Stars will face Zimbabwe in a doubleheader in the next round of matches in October in Kumasi and in Harare respectively.
