Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew has extended his contract with Premier League side Crystal Palace.
Ayew has been with the south London club for the past six years, amassing over 180 appearances, including featuring in all 41 of their games last season.
Now, the seasoned Ghana international has committed to a new deal that will keep him at Selhurst Park until 2025.
Expressing his feelings to the club’s official website, Ayew stated: “It feels great. I think everyone knows how much I love this club. I feel an immense sense of pride every time I put on the Palace shirt; this club is my home, and signing a new contract affirms that.
“Everything about Crystal Palace is special, especially the fans. They are our 12th man. There isn’t a more passionate and supportive fanbase in the league; you’re always with us from the first minute until the end.
“I’d like to thank the manager – I have so much respect for Roy [Hodgson], he’s been so good to me – and Steve Parish and Dougie Freedman. They’re always there when you need them. Not to forget all the staff at the club; we all have a great bond here.
“I hope I can contribute to the club’s progress up the league. We have a strong squad and the belief to achieve something special. I will give 100% every week to ensure we embark on a good run and start climbing the table.”
