Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Francis Jojo Bossman has revealed that the Phobians inability to win the Ghana Premier League for years makes him sad.
The Capital-based club who are one of the six African teams to have won a treble on the continent have not won any major trophy for almost a decade under Togbe Afede XIV.
Joojo Bossman who had arguably Ghana’s best ever striker in the Ghana Premier League Ishmael Addo and Bernard Don Bortey as his playing mates, says it’s bad for a club like Hearts to go trophyless for such a long period.
”I am really sad about Accra Hearts of Oak’s inability to win the premier league trophy for years. These new players don’t love the team. I will plead with them to play for the team from their heart Bossman told Happy FM.”
He, however, urged management of the club always fulfil their promises to the playing body to get the best from them.
”I will plead with management to also honor their promises to the players and try to keep them together sometimes. Whenever hearts lose a match, it hurt all of us,”
Bossman won the Ghanaian league four times with the Phobians and also the Caf Confederations Cup.
