Ghanaian forward, Nana Amponsah has been suspended and will miss Fortuna Düsseldorf’s clash against newly promoted team Würzburger Kickers on Saturday.
The 24-year-old offensive player Nana Ampomah trained with the club but will not be in the squad on Saturday after he was sent off against Hamburg last Friday in the season’s opener in the Bundesliga 2.
The winger saw two yellow cards which resulted to a red card on Friday evening and is banned from taking part in Würzburger’s game this weekend.
Ampomah came from the bench after 73 minutes in place of Brandon Borrello and was showed the first yellow card after nine minutes of his introduction.
In the closing stages of the match, the Ghanaian received his marching orders after he was shown the second yellow card in the game for decent.
The want-away forward will be serving a one-game ban as suspension after his red card in a game Düsseldorf suffered a 1-2 defeat at Hamburg.
