The women’s qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in Africa have been scintillating.
Nigeria, Morocco, Zambia and South Africa are due to fight for the two slots allocated by FIFA with Morocco playing against Zambia and South Africa and Nigeria clashing.
Former Bayana Bayana skipper Amanda Dlamini has revealed how big the stage is at the Olympics when speaking in an interview with Steve Vickers of Planet Sport Football Africa’s Weekly Podcast.
“It’s a big stage to be at the Olympic games and you have to make sure that you prepare adequately,” said Amanda Dlamini.
Morocco massacred Tunisia 6-2 on aggregate, Ghana lost 4-3 to Zambia, Nigeria piped Cameroon 1-0 and South Africa thrashed Tanzania 4-0 in the fourth round of the Paris 2024 qualifiers.
