Ghanaian forward, Joel Fameyeh played a pivotal role in FC Orenburg’s away draw at Akron Togliatti on Sunday afternoon.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC hitman played a vital role in his team’s 1-1 draw away at Togliatti in the Russian National Football League week 30 encounter.
Just after 12 minutes played on the clock, Anton Kilin struck to give the home team an early lead and his goal was enough to give the relegation fighters in the lead at the break.
Seven minutes into the second half of the match, Fameyeh picked a ball from the right side of attack for the visitors and went past his maker as his cut back resulted in a goal after a chip to the far post to make it 1-1 at full time.
Fameyeh was taken off after 73 minutes of action and was replaced by Maxim Palienko with 17 minutes left on the clock.
The 23-year-old predator finisher has seven goals in 26 matches for the Blue and Whites this season as they continue to push for promotion.
