‘Soon To Be’ Black Stars player, Kwasi Okyere Wriedt was on target for Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie on Saturday afternoon against SC Heerenveen.
The 26-year-old former Bayern München striker banged his team’s second goal in their 3-1 victory to boost their survival quest in the Netherlands top-flight.
The home team got their reward for their early pressure in the game when Sebastian Holmen scored the opening goal in the first half on the 29th minute.
Ten minutes after the break, Okyere headed home the second goal for the home team on the 55th minute mark after he met Che Nunnely cross to find the bottom left corner to make it 2-0.
Two minutes later, Nunnely grabbed the third for Willem II before Joey Veerman scored a consolation on the 73rd minute for SC Heerenveen to make the final score 3-1.
The German Bundesliga winner, Okyere Wriedt has played fifteen games in the Dutch Eredivisie this campaign.
