In a significant boost for the Black Stars, star player Mohammed Kudus has joined the team in camp ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The talented youngster, despite earlier reports of a hamstring injury, participated in the final training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi after arriving on Tuesday, January 9.
Contrary to concerns over his alleged injury, Kudus’ involvement in training signals positive news for Ghanaians, alleviating worries about his availability for the tournament.
Earlier reports on Tuesday had suggested Kudus might be unable to play in Ghana’s first AFCON game due to lingering injuries.

However, his active participation in training suggests he is on track to feature prominently for Ghana in the crucial Group B match against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14.

The Black Stars are scheduled to depart Ghana for Ivory Coast on Wednesday, January 10, in anticipation of the tournament’s commencement on Saturday, January 13.
