English Championship side Leicester City is currently engaged in negotiations with Sporting CP to secure the permanent acquisition of Ghanaian international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.

Issahaku, a promising 19-year-old talent, made the move to Leicester City on a season-long loan deal from the renowned Portuguese club in 2023.

Since his arrival in England, Issahaku has shown remarkable improvement in his performance, emerging as one of the standout wingers in the competitive English Championship.

His impressive displays have caught the attention of Leicester City’s management, who are keen to secure his services on a permanent basis.

Reports suggest that Leicester City is in advanced discussions with Sporting CP to reach an agreement regarding the transfer fee for Issahaku.

While the loan contract includes a release clause of €60 million, negotiations between the two clubs have narrowed down the potential fee to €17 million, contingent upon certain conditions being met.

Leicester City is eager to finalize the deal in the coming weeks, with the intention of formally completing the transfer during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The prospect of securing Issahaku on a permanent basis underscores Leicester City’s commitment to strengthening their squad and investing in promising young talent.

Issahaku’s emergence as a key player for Leicester City highlights the success of the loan arrangement, with the player making a significant impact on the team’s performances.

His skillful play and versatility have added depth to Leicester City’s attacking options, earning him praise from teammates, fans, and pundits alike.

By securing Issahaku’s permanent signing, Leicester City aims to solidify their squad for the future while also capitalizing on the player’s potential for further development and success.

The negotiations with Sporting CP signify Leicester City’s proactive approach in the transfer market, as they seek to secure promising talents to bolster their squad.

The agreement between the two clubs reflects a mutual understanding of the player’s value and the desire to reach a favorable outcome for all parties involved.

Leicester City’s willingness to invest in Issahaku demonstrates their belief in his abilities and potential to make a significant contribution to the club’s long-term success.

As the negotiations progress, Leicester City remains optimistic about reaching a favorable agreement with Sporting CP and completing the transfer in due course.

Issahaku’s impending permanent move to Leicester City represents a significant milestone in his career, as he looks forward to continuing his development and making a lasting impact at the club.
