The 2019 Ghana Football Association Presidential candidate was unveiled as new Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko on Friday and has gone to church to seek the blessings of the Almighty as he starts work on Monday.
Nana Yaw Amponsah – in his inaugural address at the Sports Hotel – said he has taken up the job to make Asante Kotoko the best football club in Africa whilst soliciting for the full support of all Kotoko supporterts.
“I am here to make Asante Kotoko the best club in Africa. I dare to say that Kotoko is bigger than NPP and NDC and so I want you to give me double of the support that you offer your political parties.” Mr. Amponsah said.
The new CEO of the Porcupine Warriors – flanked by some associates – was in attendance at the Unity church on Sunday morning where he knelt down to receive prayer a pastor.
