Ghana’s Black Stars new head coach Chris Hughton has vowed to take full responsibility of decisions he will take as the gaffer for the national team.
The former Brighton and Hove Albion manager says he’s been in the coaching job for a long while now and has gained experience in coaching.
According to him, he has been in football for years and he will be responsible for his actions.
“I can’t speak about anything in the past or what has been said in the past,” he told SuperSport.
“All I can say is that I have been involved in coaching, management and a head coach for a long time now and that comes with a lot of experience
“I am used to and I get well with people because I think it is about my personality but ultimately, being successful of the team or nonsuccess will be done to me and the players so ultimately I have to make sure that every decision that I take will be my decision
“What I need is the support of the backroom staff and also from the Ghana Football Association and that is what I have had so far.
“So it is difficult to speak about anything in the past. I can tell you that I have worked in football and I have the experience of being in the game for a long time and ultimately, every decision I will take will be mine.
“The coach is always responsible for his tactics, picking his team. Ultimately, he has the responsibility for all these,” he added.
