West African Football Union (WAFU) zone B president Mr. Kurt Edwin Okraku has sent a heartwarming message to participating teams from the zone ahead of the 2023 CAF U-23 Championship in Morocco.
The president of the union took time to wish Niger, who are in group and chasing their first qualification to play at the Olympic Games in Paris next summer.
He also wished Ghana’s Black Meteors team all the very best of luck as they seek to make their first appearance at the competition for the first time since 2004 in Greece, Athens.
The ttournament starts on Sunday and Ghana will face Congo Brazzaville in their first game of the competition and are in the same group as hosts nation Morocco and Guinea.
