Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has blamed poor decision-making by his players for Accra Hearts of Oak’s disappointing draw against Aduana FC in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Phobians hosted the Dormaa-based club at the Accra Sports Stadium hoping to secure all three points and keep their fading title hopes alive.
Despite dominating large parts of the contest and creating opportunities, Hearts of Oak failed to convert their chances and were forced to settle for a frustrating goalless draw.
Speaking after the game, Dramani admitted his side struggled with decision-making in key moments and stressed the need for improvement.
“I think that it’s part of the sporting event where you have challenges, and you have learning curves. I believe this is part of the learning, and we will deal with the challenges,” he said.
“It is still decision-making. I have said it from day one. I think we need to improve our decision-making.”
The former Black Galaxies coach further emphasized the importance of humility and continuous development as the team seeks to improve.
“I think what is important in football is that you always need to improve and you need to be humble enough to agree that there is work to be done and you have to grow,” he added.
The dropped points officially end Hearts of Oak’s hopes of winning the Ghana Premier League title this season.
The Phobians will now focus on securing victories in their remaining two matches as they aim to finish the campaign in the league’s top four.
