Ghanaian international forward, Kwame Poku has spoken highly of his former team Colchester United after leaving the club this summer.
The 19-year-old Ghanaian versatile forward joined Championship side Peterborough United on a long-term contract but has not forgotten how he enjoyed his time at his former club.
Speaking to the club’s media team after his deal, the Ghanaian international explained how he felt during his time in Colchester.
“I really enjoyed my time at Colchester, there were ups and downs, but that is football, I wish them nothing but the best for the future. I like to express myself as a footballer, try and create and score goals and enjoy it, that is the main thing.”
Poku, who made his Ghana debut last term for two Africa Cup of Nation qualifiers, made 75 appearances for Colchester.
He scored six goals to help the outfit.
