Head coach of the Ghana senior national female football team Yussif Basigi is optimistic the Black Queens will pick all three points in their opener against Kenya in the African Women Championship.
In spite of the late arrival of the Queens team in Cameroon, Basigi avers his side can defy the odds to his favor.
Speaking to the press after the team arrived in Cameroon, he stated his side will grab all three points against Kenya on sunday.
“The team is battled ready, we have an all round team and for sure we’re going for all three points” Said Basigi.
“That’s the ultimate, I have told them that every match is like a final match. In a every match we attach importance to it” he added.
The Black Queens arrived in Limbre, their camp base in Cameroon just past Thursday.
The team on saturday morning took a team walk around their camp. At exactly 4pm there will be a technical meeting which will follow-up by a press conference at the team hotel at 7PM.
The Queens will hold their final training before the game at 8pm which the first 30 minutes will be opened to the media and public.
