Louisville attacker Elijah Amo was selected by Real Salt Lake in the second round of the 2021 Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft.
The Ghanaian international who was a regular starter for the team in 2019 and 2020, scored three goals in six games in a condensed 2020 schedule.

One would readily imagine that Amo is likely to move to Real Monarchs instead of Real Salt Lake, though as a player with experience at both flanks and at forward, he may have a slight advantage, in that RSL is weak on the wings.

Amo played his youth soccer at Bethesda SC. We’ll see now if Amo ends up with a contract at the organization.
