Ghana’s 2022 World Cup Group opponent’s Zimbabwe have named Norman Mapeza as their stop-gap coach following the sacking of Zdravko Logarusic.
Sportsworldghana.com cam confirm that the 49-year-old tactician has been handed a three-month deal which could be extended based on his output.
Mapeza who is one of the top local coaches in Zimbabwe was in charge of Harare-based Platinum FC before getting the appointment to become national team coach.

His first assignment will be against the Black Stars of Ghana at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on October 6.
