Ghanaian footballer Rashida Ibrahim has secured a move to Apollon Ladies, the reigning champions of Cyprus, during the current summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old midfielder joins Apollon Ladies following her departure from Abu Dhabi SC in the United Arab Emirates. Prior to her stint in the UAE, Ibrahim played for Berry Ladies in Ghana, gaining valuable experience both locally and internationally.

She comes with a wealth of success, having won multiple titles in the UAE Women’s League and competed in the AFC Women’s Champions League. Rashida is a two-time league champion in the UAE and was named MVP three times while playing in the Ghana Women’s League,” the club announced.
Speaking on her transfer, Ibrahim said, “I’m very excited to join a prestigious club like Apollon Ladies. I look forward to contributing to the team’s success and helping win more trophies.”
Rashida Ibrahim is expected to make her debut soon, potentially featuring in Apollon Ladies’ upcoming UEFA Women’s Champions League match against YB Frauen later this month.
