Ghana international defender Khalid Abdul Mumin Suleman is assessing offers from clubs in Spain, France, England and Major League Soccer (MLS) as he prepares to decide on the next chapter of his career.
The 28-year-old centre-back is expected to make a decision in the coming weeks after attracting interest from several teams across Europe’s top leagues and the United States.
Mumin became a free agent after turning down a contract extension proposal from Rayo Vallecano, with the defender unwilling to accept a reduced salary offer from the La Liga club.
His final season in Spain was disrupted by a serious ACL injury that kept him sidelined for almost a year. However, he made a strong recovery and returned to feature in three La Liga matches before the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
The comeback also earned him a place in Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, highlighting the continued trust placed in him by the Black Stars technical team.
With interest increasing from multiple destinations, Mumin is now carefully considering his options as he looks to secure a fresh challenge and continue his career at the highest level following his departure from Rayo Vallecano.
