Ghanaian centre-back Mohammed Adams has sealed a move to Isreali Liga Leumit side FC Hapoel Afula.
The 25-year-old joins Afula from Hapoel Ramat Gan for the 2026/27 campaign.
The hard-tackling defender arrives after helping Ramat Gan secure promotion to the Israeli top tier league.
“Welcome Adams. The 25-year-old Ghanaian defender signed with the club until the end of the season through his agent Yinon Butiba. Adams, one of the leading defenders in the national team for the past two years, arrives after two seasons with Hapoel Ramat Gan, who recently played a significant role in the team’s promotion to the Premier League,” posted the club on their official social media pages.
Adams also shared his excitement after putting pen to paper, expressing readiness to get started.
“I am happy to sign with Hapoel Afula, I have only heard good things about the club and the team, I believe in myself and my ability to help the team reach its goals this season,” said the Ghanaian.
The ex-Liberty Professionals player previously played for FC Honka and Rops in Finland before enjoying a spell in Portugal with SC Covilha.
