English championship side Brentford FC have released Danish-born Ghanaian striker Justin Kwabena Shaibu after four years in their fold.
The young forward joined Brentford in 2016 from Danish outfit HB Koge and was able to make only ten appearances scoring one goal for the English second-tier side as he was sent on loan twice.
Shaibu spent this season on loan at National League club Boreham Wood where he managed only five goals in thirty games as his side finished fifth with 60 points.
The 22-year-old centre-forward is already attracting interest from Stoke City and Derby County as they believe he has the potential to develop into a great player if coached well.
The attacker draws inspiration from Belgium international Romelu Lukaku and admits he sees himself in the Inter star as they have similar qualities.
“I like to think I play like Romelu Lukaku, I have got great pace, a lot of energy, a lot of power, and I am a great finisher.” He stated in one of his interviews with the Brentford FC media.
Born in the Danish capital of Copenhagen to Ghanaian parents, Shaibu has represented Denmark in all the age competitions but can still feature for the Black Stars.
