Ghanaian forward Kwaku Karikari has signed a contract with AC Horsens in Denmark, extending through June 2028.
Karikari joins AC Horsens from FK Jedinstvo Ub in Serbia, where he had an outstanding season, netting 16 goals and providing 9 assists, which contributed to the team’s promotion to the Serbian Super Liga.
His exceptional performance earned him the title of the club’s best player for the 2023-24 season. Over two seasons in Serbia, Karikari scored a total of 29 goals and made 16 assists in 68 appearances.

He is set to begin training with his new team on Monday and is expected to be available for selection in their second league match of the season against Hillerod Fodfold on Friday. This comes after Horsens’ 1-3 defeat to FC Fredericia in their opening game.
“Karikari is a versatile attacking player with great speed, lots of power, and he has proven that he can both score goals and assist after a few years of success in Serbian football,”
”He is a different type than we already have, and we look forward to seeing him in yellow.” said sports director Esben Hansen.
Karikari, who previously played for Liberty Professionals and Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League, now faces an exciting new challenge in Denmark, where he is anticipated to make a significant impact at AC Horsens.
