Black Stars defender Yakubu Mohammed is lamenting over Azam FC’s 1-0 defeat to Mtibwa Sugar SC in the Tanzanian top-flight league on Monday.
Jaffar Kibaya’s 62nd-minute striker was all that the home side needed clinch all three points in the game at the Manungu Stadium.
The Ghanaian international who featured in the game took to social media to express his disappointment.
”Not the result we hoped for losing 1-0 to Mtibwa Sugar SC. In everything we give thanks to Ya Allah & keep our heads up!” Yakubu wrote on Twitter.

The former Aduana Stars FC versatile defender was handed his debut Ghana call-up for the Black Stars international friendlies against Mali and Qatar earlier this month.
He would be hoping to also make the cut for Ghana’s 2022 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers double-header against Sudan next month.
