Nsoatreman FC has officially announced its withdrawal from the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League and all competitions organized by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), citing concerns over the safety and security of its players.
In a letter addressed to the General Secretary of the GFA, the club explained that recent incidents during their matches against Asante Kotoko and Samartex FC had raised serious security concerns, prompting the management and board of directors to take the difficult decision.
“We are forced to take this decision due to recent events involving our matches with Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Samartex FC, which we officially wrote to your high office,” the statement read.
The club further emphasized that ensuring the well-being of their players remains their top priority, adding that they could no longer guarantee their safety if they continued to participate in the league.
“In light of this, we can no longer guarantee the safety of our players. Therefore, management and the board of directors are left with no choice but to prioritize the safety and security of our players by withdrawing from the league.”

Nsoatreman FC expressed regret over any inconvenience their withdrawal may cause and thanked the GFA for their cooperation.
