Brian Brobbey has won the Ajax Goal of the Month award for February for his great strike against Lille in the UEFA Europa League.
Brobbey’s superb injury-time goal against Lille was chosen by fans of the club as Goal of the Month for February and he received the award at the club’s training grounds on Thursday.
“It feels good. It was an important goal, so I am very happy with it,” Brobbey told his club’s website
“It was a very nice ball from Davy Klaassen, with a lot of feeling. I saw the keeper’s legs open and in a split second I decided to shoot.”
Ajax have already tabled a fresh contract renewal offer for Brobbey which is being studied by his agent Mino Raiola.
