Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah has been rewarded for his impressive performances in Saudi Arabia after being named Al Qadsiah’s Player of the Month for April.
The talented attacker enjoyed an excellent month, playing a major role in the club’s strong performances in the Saudi Pro League. His contributions helped Al Qadsiah secure an emphatic victory over Al Riyadh while also earning valuable draws against Al Shabab and Damac.
Bonsu Baah was directly involved in four goals during that period, scoring once and providing three assists. It marked his most productive spell since joining the Saudi side and further highlighted his growing influence within the team.
The 21-year-old has become an important figure under manager Brendan Rodgers, with Al Qadsiah currently occupying fourth place in the league standings. His creativity, pace, and attacking intelligence have made him one of the club’s standout performers this season.
The former Genk player has also carried his fine form into May. He delivered another assist in Al Qadsiah’s impressive victory over Al Nassr, the side led by Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
So far this season, Bonsu Baah has registered 14 goal contributions in the league, including an impressive 11 assists, underlining his importance in the final third.
Despite his outstanding performances, the winger is expected to miss Ghana’s upcoming friendly against Mexico later this month. However, he is likely to return to the Black Stars squad for the final preparatory match against Wales ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
