Black Stars and former Anderlecht winger Frank Acheampong has urged Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru to do his best at Anderlecht and he will be a household name in Europe.
Majeed Ashimeru early this year completed a loan move to Belgian top-flight side RSC Anderlecht. The young Midfielder joined the Belgian giants from Red Bull Salzburg, where he won the Austrian league and Domestic Cup and also reached the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League.
Acheampong who spent four seasons at Anderlecht wants Majeed Ashimeru to churn out good performances for the Belgian side and he will succeed in mainstream European football.
“Anderlecht is a great club and I know Majeed with his talent will be a huge success at the club “
“I will advise him to just continue to work hard and if he is able to do that, trust me he will be a household name in mainstream European football because Anderlecht is noted for buying, grooming, and selling quality talents,” Acheampong told Untoldstories TV GH.
The former WAFA star on Monday scored his first league goal for Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League against Royal Antwerp.
Ashimeru, 23, joined Anderlecht in January on loan from Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg until the end of the season.
