The 55-year-old has formally submitted his CV to the Ghana Football Association, expressing his interest in leading the Ghanaian national team.
Prosinecki, known for his illustrious playing career with clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Dinamo Zagreb, and others, brings a wealth of experience to the coaching role. With a unique combination of leadership skills, discipline, and a proven track record in team reconstruction, organization, and developing young talent, he aims to contribute to the success of the Black Stars.
In his managerial career, Prosinecki has been at the helm of clubs such as Red Stars Belgrade, Kayserispor, Denizlispor, and Olimpija Ljubljana. He also served as an assistant coach for the Croatia national team from 2006 to 2010, and as the head coach of the Azerbaijani national team and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Ghana FA, in response to the coaching vacancy, has announced its intention to headhunt for the next Black Stars coach.
