Wonder-kid Kamaldeen Sulemana has arrived in Amsterdam and is in line to become Ajax’s next reinforcement this week, Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirm.
The nineteen-year-old Ghanaian attacker is currently in Amsterdamand and every last détails are ironed out, he will sign a four-year contract with the Dutch Eredivisie Champions before the weekend.
Sulemana has been on Ajax ‘s radar for a long time and the FC Nordsjaelland winger could’ve already joined the Red and Whites who showed serious interest in the winter transfer window but at the time the Danish club did not want to let him go.
However, Ajax has continued to closely monitor the Ghanaian sensational attacker as sporting director, Marc Overmars traveled to watch the youngster play against Copenhagen in the Danish top-flight, a match the youngster hit the back of the net and claimed the MVP award.
The transfer fee for Sulemana is said to be around 15 million euros. Ajax and the Danish club have been in agreement for some time, only the amount of the fee for the agent remains an obstacle.
The Amsterdammers hope to complete the signing of the young player as soon as possible as there is more interest in Sulemana from Manchester United, Liverpool FC, Olympic Lyon and Everton FC.
