Hearts of Oak exerted premiership strength on second tier Kotoku Royals in the round 32 of MTN FA Cup at the Accra sports stadium this afternoon.
The Axim Oda outfit were too vulnerable for the rejuvenated Hearts of Oak who managed four pass the visiting Royals, two in each half.
Stalwart defender Vincent opened the scoring in the 21st of the proceedings through the spot before Kwame Kizito wrapped up it for the first half.
Royals came strong in the second half in attempt to cause upset but it was not to be and in 79th and 84th respectively, Comos Dawuda and Vincent sealed the Phobians’ qualification.
Struggling Asante Kotoko left it late before defeating Swedru Proud United.
Kotoko has not seen win in 9 matches in all competition but former Techiman City playmaker was at hand to save Kotoko the brushes in the closing stage of the encounter.
