German defender of Ghanaian parentage Festus Arthur was in action over the weekend as Hull City defeated Scunthorpe by a lone goal to nothing in their first preseason game.
Arthur who was making a return after six months out with injury was superb in the heart of defence of the Tigers as they recorded the narrowly win in the away encounter.
The 21-year-old guardsman has already had offers from a host of clubs including Wallsall for a loan deal as he seeks adequate playing time after recovering from the lengthy injury but his superb performance on Saturday means he could be maintained by manager Grant McCann.
Arthur is yet to be capped by Germany or Ghana at any level.
