FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Rock-Solid Ghana center-back Alexander Djiku suspended for Ethiopia clash

Rock-Solid Ghana defender Alexander Djiku is out of the Black Stars game against Ethiopia at the Orlando stadium today at 1pm in Johannesburg.

Djiku isn’t in the starting XI against Ethiopia due to accumulation of yellow cards and has been replaced by Celta Vigo man Joseph Aidoo.

The French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg center-back picked up two yellow cards in the doubleheader against Zimbabwe last month.

The dependable defender is expected to be back in the team against South Africa on Sunday in the last qualifier at the Cape Coast stadium.
