Black Stars winger, Christopher Antwi-Adjei has started preparation for the 2021-22 German Bundesliga season with his new club VFL Bochum on Monday morning.
The Ghanaian international forward joined the newly promoted team from SC Paderborn at the end of the 2020-21 Bundesliga 2 campaign.
Antwi-Adjei is an amazing player who has played in the German Bundesliga for the Blue and Blacks team in the 2019-20 season before his side suffered relegation.
This season, the Ghanaian winger played 31 games in the Bundesliga 2 campaign for Paderborn and scored four goals with one assist to his name.
Though the Ghanaian failed to found the back of the net in the German DFB Pokal, he bagged three assists in the competition to take his total goal contribution in all competitions to eight.
With his contract with SC Paderborn due to expire at the end of June, the 27-year-old Ghanaian forward opted not to extend his stay as he joined the newly promoted team on a three-year deal.
The once a top team in Germany Football history, VFL Bochum has begun preparations for the 2021-22 campaign and the Ghanaian was among the players who turned up on the first day of the pre-season for the Blue and Whites.
