Ghana U-20 team deputy coach Amadu Nurudeen says his outfit will leave no stone unturned in their second Group B match against ‘strong’ Senegal in the ongoing 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
Nurudeen, adds the Black Satellites are highly motivated to beat Senegal on Wednesday.
The one-time FIFA U20 World Cup champions will face Senegal at the Stade de Maradi after whipping Burkina Faso 2-0 on Monday at the same venue.
Amadu Nurudeen said ”Senegal is a strong side because they have a good youth set up but we have put yesterday’s win aside and we’re now concentrating on Senegal.
“Whatever be the case we will play and we’re motivated to win.” he added.
Senegal head coach Youssouph Dabo said at a pre-match conference ”The match will be very important for both teams and we will do our best to win and confirm our place in the next round which is our objective.
He continued ”Ghana is a strong team but side they have their strengths and weaknesses.”
The Black Satellites will be hoping to record a win over Senegal to make it to the last four and automatically secure qualification to this year’s U-20 World Cup in Poland.
