Ghanaian defender Joseph Baffo has turned down an offer to extend his contract with Swedish Superettan side Halmstads BK.
The Halmstad based club keen on extending the contract of the 27-year old defender whose contract out at the end of this year but the player is hesitant to accept the club’s new deal as he wants to say goodbye to them.
Halmstads BK signed the center-back in March this year as a free agent.
”It’s true that I said no. I am in no hurry to decide, but I can say that I thrive very well in Halmstad,” Baffo told Kvällposten.
” We will see what happens”. the former Eintracht Braunschweig player added.
Baffo was born to Ghanaian parents in Sweden and has represented the country at the National U21 level.
He holds both Swedish and Ghanaian passports.
