Ghanaian forward Dauda Mohammed has completed a move to Spanish lower-tier club UD Ibiza in the ongoing transfer window.
The 26-year-old attacker joins Ibiza on a season-long loan from fellow Spanish side CD Tenerife and is set to bolster the first team for the upcoming campaign.
Dauda, a former Ghana youth international, is expected to play a significant role for the Spanish third-tier club as they aim to make a strong impact this season. His move to UD Ibiza marks the latest chapter in his European football journey, which began after leaving Asante Kotoko in 2017.
The forward started his career in Ghana before joining Belgian giants Anderlecht, where he struggled to break into the first team, leading to multiple loan spells at clubs like Dutch side Vitesse and Denmark’s Esbjerg fB. Dauda eventually found stability in Spain, where he made an impressive debut for Cartagena during the 2021/2022 season, scoring 9 goals in 35 appearances.
His performances at Cartagena caught the attention of CD Tenerife, where he spent two and a half seasons before being loaned out to CD Eldense in the latter part of last season.
As he now joins UD Ibiza, Dauda is poised to contribute his experience and skill to help the club achieve its goals for the season.
