German-born Ghanaian winger John Yeboah Zamora was on target for VVV-Venlo in their 2-1 win against FC Groningen on Saturday in the Dutch Eredivisie.
Yeboah, 19, who joined VVV Venlo on loan from German Club VfL Wolfsburg in the summer transfer, opened the scoring for the hosts in the 12th minute before his strike was cancelled by Ajdin Hrustic in the 44th minute.
Venlo, dominated play and kept pushing for the match winner and finally saw their effort paid off when Evert Linthorst struck six minutes from stoppage time to grab all three points for the home team at the Covebo Stadion – De Koel
He was however, replaced by Damian Van Bruggen in the 89th minute.
Born in Hamburg- Germany, Yeboah has represent Germany at the U-16, U17, U18, and the U19 levels but still remains eligible to play for the Black Stars.
