Black Stars striker Joseph Esso scored again for Mouloudia club d’alger in the Algeria Ligue 1 on Friday night at home to Jeunesse Sportive Madinet Skikda.
The former Accra Hearts of Oak SC star enjoyed full throttle as his side thrashed the Black and Whites outfit 3-0 to move to 6th on the league table after 33 matches with five games to end the season.
Abdenour Belkheir scored the first goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game with a 4th-minute strike.
After the break, the Green and Yellows were awarded a penalty kick which was successfully converted by Nabil Lamara to make 2-0.
Esso added the icing on the cake goal on the 60th-minute mark to help MC Alger beat Skikda 3-0 at the end of the one-sided encounter.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian international forward has played 13 matches since his move from Ghana Premier League team Dreams FC to MC Alger and has found the back of the net twice for the Green and Reds and has two assists to his credit.
