Dreams FC captain Joseph Esso has expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s underwhelming performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League and has pledged to lead efforts to improve their standing.
With just two wins so far this season, Dreams FC find themselves in 15th place on the league table, a position that has sparked concern among fans and players alike.
Speaking to 3Sports, Esso acknowledged the significant responsibility he bears as a senior player and team leader.
“As a captain, you know if things go well, they will look up to you. As a senior player, I’m expected to lift the boys up or do something to put the team in a better position on the league log,” he stated.
The forward admitted his disappointment with the club’s current struggles but emphasized his determination to inspire a turnaround.
“I’m personally not happy with the way things are going with Dreams FC,” Esso admitted. “I’m committed to putting in the effort needed to help the team improve.”
Dreams FC will be relying on Esso’s leadership both on and off the pitch as they aim to find consistency and climb out of the relegation zone in the coming weeks.
