Italian-born Ghanaian centre-forward Derrick Gyimah has been sent into the Torino Under 18 team following his sterling performance with the U17 last season.
The nimble-footed striker was phenomenon for the U17 of the Turin club during the last campaign and has now been rewarded with a promotion to the Under 18 team.
Gyimah will be very key to the fortunes of Torino this season as they seek to win the Primavera League for the first time in their history.
Born to Ghanaian parents in Milan on January 1, 2003, Gyimah previously played for Savigliano before being signed by Torino last season for an undisclosed fee.
He is considered as one of the formidable attackers in the Italian youth ranks.
