Ghanaian striker Jordan Mintah netted a hat-trick for Kaya FC in the Filipino topflight as they thrashed Global Cebu 5-1 on Sunday.
The Ghanaian international, who has been the leading scorer in the Philippine league for the past two seasons, shot his club in front in the eighth minute before registering a brace in the 27th minute.
He however, completed a superb hat-trick in the 37th minute after dribbling the ball past the opposing goalkeeper.
Mintah’s scintillating form has seen his club Kaya FC occupy the position second on the league log with 37 points and remain unbeaten in their last five league games.
The 24- year old striker played for Kessben FC and Wassaman before moving to Philippines in 2014 to join Stallions FC where he spent three seasons before switching camp to Kaya FC.
He is one of the three foreign players the Asian country is seeking to naturalize for their national team in the near future.
