Ghanaian hotshot, Philip Yeboah, has signed his first professional contract with Italian Serie A side Hellas Verona that commits him to a two and half year deal with the club.
Yeboah was promoted to the Primavera youth side (U 19) in 2019 after scoring 25 goals in 25 games for Hellas Verona’s U-17 side. Last season he contributed eight goals and four assists in 24 games operating from the left side of attack.
The 18-year-old’s production, work ethic and character in the youth division attracted the ears and eyes of the Hellas Verona’s first-team coach Ivan Juric, who gave him a call up to the senior side upon resumption of the league last season.
In December last year, Philip Yeboah finally made his Serie A debut against Fiorentina when he came on in the second half in for teammate Mattia Zaccagni in the 78th minute as Hellas Verona searched for a winner in a 1-1 draw stalemate.
This season after returning from injury, Yeboah has made two appearances for the U19 side with a goal to his credit. His contract was negotiated by Ghanaian FIFA agent Oliver Arthur, who is the C.E.O of ArthurLegacySports.
