The 28-year-old opened the scoring in the first half after seven minutes to put the Green and Whites an early lead in the match.

Adam Jakobsen restored parity for the visitors on the 19th minutes before Mensah scored his second goal in the game after the 40th minutes mark to put the host back in front.

Sebastian Grónning gave the host a two goals advantage on the stroke of half time when his fine effort found the back of the net for Viborg.

Five minutes into the second 45 minutes, Oliver Drost netted a beauty of a goal as he made the score 3-2 to give the away team some sort of believe.
