Former Black Stars goalkeeper, Fatua Dauda has opened up about playing at the FIFA World Cup.
According to the former Ashantigold SC safest pair of hands, it was never in his dreams to play for Ghana’s Black Stars at the World stage.
“I never dreamt of playing at the World Cup as a player”, Dauda said on Max TV.
The Ghana International was the first choice goalkeeper for the senior national team of Ghana at the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil.
The goalkeeper widely known as a ‘Lion’ played against teams like United States of America, Cristiano Ronald’s Portugal and Germany who went on to lift the ultimate.
The 35-year-old former Ghana goalkeeper played for Nigerian Premier League team Enyimba FC and currently ply his trade in Ghana with Premier League side Legon Cities FC.
