Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has named an 18-man squad for next week’s CAF Confederation Cup tie against Nkana FC in Zambia, as management confirms the traveling party for the trip to the south-central African country.
C.K Akonnor is presenting two goalkeepers in Felix Annan and Muntari Tagoe as well as six defenders comprising Amos Frimpong , Augustine Sefa, Wahab Adams, Agyemang Badu, Abdul Ganiu and Habib Mohammed.
Also making the cut are midfielders Kwame Bonsu, Umar Bashiru, Stephen Nyarko, Martin Antwi, Emmauel Gyamfi, livewire Maxwell Baako and
Jordan Opoku who returns to the team after failing to make the cut for Coton Sports and Zesco United matches.
Strikers, Abdul Fataw Safiu, Naby Laye Keita, and Songne Yacouba complete the list of players who are expected to engineer a positive result in Kitwe stadium on Sunday 24th February, 2019.
Kotoko will leave Kotoka International Airport on Wednesday to Zambia for the crucial showdown with Nkana FC over the weekend.
