Hearts of Oak breezed past Apam FC, a lower-tier club, in a friendly match on Tuesday, as they continue their preparations to enhance their chances of clinching the Ghana Premier League title in the 2022/23 football season.
The match took place at the Pobiman Sports Complex, the home of the capital-based club. Hearts of Oak emerged victorious with a convincing 7-2 win, asserting their dominance throughout the game.
Notably, striker Victor Aidoo scored two goals, while young talent Benjamin Yorke also found the back of the net. Additionally, Amankwah Baafi and Linda Mtange both scored braces, contributing to the team’s impressive victory.
This friendly win comes just three days after Hearts of Oak’s league match against Dreams FC ended in a goalless draw, where they failed to find the back of the net.
