Medeama SC defeated Eleven Wonders by 2-0 to record a third successive victory in the Ghana Premier League to move to second place on the league table after Week 16.
The Yellow and Mauves won the mid-week encounter with goals from Prince Opoku Agyemang and Joseph Tetteh Zutah.
Opoku Agyemang who has returned to the side following his short loan stint with Cape Town City in South Africa opened the scoring in the 26th minute before Zutah confirmed the win five minutes from time.
Medeama were able to field the three-pronged attack of Abass Mohammed, Ahmed Toure and Opoku Agyemang which looks scary on paper.
The team of Moses Armer Parker are now 2nd on the league table with 26 points – two point adrift league leaders Karela United.
