Ghana international Mohammed Kudus played a pivotal role in West Ham United’s 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night, setting up the decisive goal.
The 23-year-old forward, starting on the flanks, delivered an impressive performance as the Hammers sought to bounce back from consecutive defeats in the English Premier League.
At the London Olympic Stadium, West Ham opened the scoring in the 54th minute through Tomas Soucek after a goalless first half. Six minutes later, Kudus appeared to double the lead with a goal, but it was ruled out after a VAR review for offside.
Wolverhampton briefly equalized in the 69th minute when Matt Doherty scored, but West Ham responded quickly. In the 72nd minute, Kudus showcased his creativity by providing a brilliant assist for Jarrod Bowen, whose strike secured the win for the hosts.
The Ghanaian star now boasts two goals and one assist in 10 Premier League appearances this season, underlining his growing influence at the London-based club.
